Our Causes
Healthcare In Africa
Access to quality healthcare remains one of the most pressing challenges across the African continent. Women and children bear a disproportionate burden. Nigeria alone accounts for 14% of global maternal deaths despite representing just 2.6% of the world's population, and thousands of premature babies die each year in hospitals that lack basic medical equipment.
The One Good Deed Foundation partners with organisations on the ground to deliver tangible healthcare interventions where they are needed most.
In Tanzania, we have partnered with The Doris Mollel Foundation, donating breathing apparatus, feeding tubes, diapers, scales, and essential medical equipment to underfunded maternity hospitals to reduce infant mortality among premature babies. These donations have been distributed across multiple hospital wards that were previously operating without the basic tools needed to keep newborns alive.

In Nigeria, we have partnered with the My Gynae Issues Foundation, an organisation providing advocacy, education, and access to specialist healthcare for women navigating gynecological and reproductive health challenges. Through this partnership, we support outreach programmes addressing better screening and treatment for fibroids — conditions that affect millions of women across West Africa but remain underfunded, underdiagnosed, and stigmatised. Beyond outreach, we provide strategic business support to the Foundation, advising on visibility, investor pitches and fundraising strategy to help them secure the funding needed to scale their impact.
